So if you have been reading some of my earlier posts you know I had to travel to back to Pennsylvania for my cousins wedding. Well guess what...I'm here!! Audrey, my cat, and I drove 7 hours to scenic northern Pennsylvania. This is a long trip and most the time my skin goes INSANE the next day. Not to mention when you get to your destination your smelly, clamy, and gross! Here are the things that I like to take with me when I go on road trips.
No one wants to wear alot of heavy make up when you are driving but I still want that flawless look. I recently discovered the Almay Smart shade CC cream. And trust me I was VERY skeptical of the whole CC or color correction creams that have surfaced since the BB cream has hit the US. but this product is going to be my go to summer foundation. Its light on the skin and it evens out the any minor redness and blemishes. Plus it stayed the WHOLE trip! I tend to get really oily in the summer so I set it with a little revlon naked powder in my T zone but I didnt have to touch up my face the whole trip! annnnddddd it has a SPF 35! I like to take the long trip back home to take the time to hydrate my lips. Its rare that I dont have lipstick on so you can imagine how dry my lips are. I wear a hydrating lip balm at night but a break once in a while cant hurt right? My choice for is the Nivea Lip Butters. They come in 4 different flavors but my favorite is the raspberry rose. Its light floral and fruity scent doesnt give me a headache or make it hard to sleep at night. I love the large flat pan that it comes in as well. It makes it easy to get the product out of the pot. This is one of the few lip balms that I put on at night and I can still feel it in the morning. And it kept my lips moisturized all through out my trip.

Alot of the time when I travel I need to be ready and presentably when I step out of the car. And I am always nervous that Im going to smell like one of those little green trees you throw under the seat of your car so it smells like pine! Then I discovered the La Fresh travel lite antiperspirant wipes for women. They have a a nice fresh scent and leave you smelling like you just put on deodorant. Also the price point is pretty good you dont have to buy a million of them if you are just going on a vacation this summer or your can buy them buy the 48 count if you are a frequent flyer. These are the for women scent but La Fresh also makes them in a scent for men!
