Full Face Essentials Under $100 and kind of a tutorial

So I saw this post on Pinterest about Beauty Essentials under $100 and I thought it was worth a gander because I love drugstore makeup. As I was looking through the post there were some of my favorite products but you couldn't create a full look with the products they listed! If you are tight on money and didn't have extra to spend on high end make up you need to spend your money wisely. So I raided my stash and pulled out my favorite budget friendly make up items to put together a look! Can I do it for under $100? Lets get started and see!

1. Cover Girl Out Last Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation in 832 Nude Beige
2. Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder in 120 Classic Ivory
3. Cover Girl Tru Blend Fixstick in M123
4. Maybelline Baby Skin

I have super oily skin, so even though a foundation claims to have a built in primer I still like to give myself a little extra insurance that my foundation is going to last all day. I start of by using Maybellines baby skin all over my face. I like this the best out of all drug store primers and it works great! I have used many high end primers and this works just as well for a fraction of the price.

Then I blend the Cover Girl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation all over my face. This foundation is the best I have used drugstore or high end. I can make it through a full 8 hour shift at work and then go out and my foundation still looks fantastic!

I haven't found a lot of concealers that can hold up to my oily skin with out breaking down. This one covers blemishes and stays put all day. The only thing I don't like is that it only comes in 3 shades. I like to apply it to blemishes before and after my foundation.

I love a matte face. It may stem from having oily skin my whole adult life. So I always finish with a powder and one that I love is the Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder in 120 Classic Ivory. There are soooooo many color options that you can find one what fits you. It is not a super long wearing powder but it works well to touch up through out the day. It doesn't look cakey and it makes your face look just as nice as when you first did it. It has a finely milled pressed powder that is super velvety!

1. L'Oreal Infallible Eye Shadow in 892 Amber Rush
2. L'Oreal Infallible Eye Shadow in 800 Bottomless Java
3. Wet n Wild Single Eye Shadow in 252B Nutty
4.Milani Eye Shadow primer

So here is where the mini tutorial comes into play!
1. Take the Milani eye shadow primer and blend a small (and I mean small) amount over both eye lids up to the brow. WAIT 30 SECONDS!!!! That is the trick to making sure that your eye shadow doesn't crease with this primer.
2. With a fluffy brush blend nutty in the crease. I know it has a little shimmer but when you blend it in the crease you don't notice the shimmer.
3. Pack on Amber Rush with your finger. Yes I said your finger. This is about saving money right?! Whats more money saving than FREE! Plus these pressed pigment style shadows work amazingggggg being packed on which your finger. You want to keep in on you lid BELOW your crease.
4. Then use bottomless Java with your finger on the outer. Just use a little to deepen up the outer corner
5. Blend out the crease with the same fluffy brush from step 2.
6. and Viola your done!

1. L'Oreal Lineur Intense in Black Noir
2. L'Oreal Lash Out Butterfly in Blackest Black
3. Maybelline The Rocket Waterproof In Blackest Black
4. NYX Auto Eyebrow Pencil in Dark Brown
Im liner and mascara obsessed! And there are so many from the drug store that I love! I love the look of liquid liner and this one from L'Oreal is  one of my favorites. Its super black and long wearing. And the brush is actually a brush, its flexible and just the right size if your doing a subtle line or dramatic wing.

Maybelline The Rocket Waterproof is my holy grail mascara. End of story. It is the only mascara that I have ever used that holds a curl in my stubborn lashes! I do not leave the house with out it. And even though it is waterproof its not difficult to take off. If you have lashes that won't hold a curl check this out!

The second mascara I use changes pretty frequently. Recently I have liked the Butterfly Lash mascara. The formula is good. But its the brush that wins me over! It has 2 rows of comb like bristles that are short in the front to get the small lashes in the inner corner and super long near the back to get the outer lashes for that go to look. If you like that Cat Eye Lash effect check out this mascara. Im partial to the waterproof version but I have tried both and love both!

Brows. I am constantly having a battle about how I do my brows. If I'm in a hurry or am being lazy I love a brow pencil and my favorite is the NYX Auto brow pencil. The actual pencil part is flat and makes it super easy to get that perfect arch. The texture is soft and buttery with enough waxiness to hold your brows on the hottest of days.

1.E.L.F Blush in Gotta Glow
2. NYC Bronzer in Sunny
3. Wet N Wild Blush in Heather Silk
I love a good bronzer and its very hard to find a good one from the drugstore. The NYC Sunny bronzer is one of my favorites high end or drugstore. As you can see from the picture I have hit pan and seeming I have about 20 other bronzers it must mean that I love this one! I have a medium skin tone and its the perfect shade for me. For people with a lighter skin tone its going to give you a strong contour and for people with a darker skin tone it might be a little to light. But give it a try!

I am a sucker for a shimmery highlight. I have tried a matte highlight and am never satisfied. In the warmer months I love this ELF blush as a highlighter. It has a gold under tone and gives you that sun kissed look. It is a direct Dupe for NARS Albatross highlight, which I to own and love but its $3. Also as you can see from the picture I have hit pan on this as well and will be repurchasing it when it runs out.

You can't get more pigmented than Wet n Wilds blushes. Heather Silk is the one I chose for this look but I own pretty much all of them and they are all the same quality and I love them all the same. I use a stippling blush with them because they are suppppppeeerrrr pigmented! Pick one up!

1. Rimmel London Lasting Finish By Kate Lipstick in  103
I love the Rimmel "Kate" Lipsticks they are a matte formula that isn't drying. Which is refreshing for any matte lipstick. They glide on smooth and last until you eat or take it off. AND they smell like watermelon which is perfect for the upcoming summer months. I have a bunch but 103 is a perfect mid tone pink that you can wear for everyday or glam up for an evening out!
